LANDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION
No masonry project is complete without the perfect landscape construction to complement the stonework and masonry designs. Plantings and lawn areas accent and highlight masonry work. They add a finished look to the whole of the masonry design project just as you would add accents to the interior rooms of your home or in the addition of accessories to a new suit you bought to wear on a special evening on the town, so to speak. At the same time we strive for a natural look just as we do in our stonework.
Color is just as important here as it is in stonework. We very carefully take into consideration the designs, textures, and colors of our masonry work when it comes time for the selection process of just the right plantings, perennial flowers, bushes and shrubs, and grasses, both ornamental and lawn varieties, for your particular project and setting. Of course the seasons must also be considered to give your landscape the right balance and harmony. You and we certainly don't want to select plantings and perennials that all bloom at the same time and leave your property colorless through a great part of the growing season! We aim for a balance of harmony, color, texture, and accent in the vegetation for your particular setting just as we aim for in your stonework The seasons, sunlight, soil, amount of rainfall, and prevailing winds must also be considered. Annuals, of course, are left up to you to practice your green thumb skills or can be handled by your own gardener or yard care service. Our landscape designers and specialists can suggest annuals that you may want to consider for colors and bloom times so that a variety of blossoms and colorations are always present through out the growing season. We are also cognizant of the views from your property and desire to maintain those special aspects of your landscape. We want you to feel at home and welcome in your outdoor living space just as you do in the interior of your home or business.
